The Great Knowledge Work Reboot
The way we manage knowledge is evolving—and this newsletter is evolving with it.
Hey friend 👋
If you’ve been subscribed here for a while, you probably remember this newsletter as The Spark Creator. And while I haven’t posted much on Substack lately—I’ve still been sharing ideas, just in other places.
But now, I’m officially rebooting this space. And I want to tell you why.
When I started The Spark Creator, it made total sense.
I was deep in the world of creative systems—helping creators design workflows that supported their output, their ideas, and their momentum.
And I still love that work.
But over time, the label “creator” started to feel… too narrow.
Because the truth is, my work in personal knowledge management has never been just about creators. It’s about how we think, how we learn, how we grow, and how we get real work done—whether that’s publishing online, building a business, or just making better decisions in life.
And as we step deeper into this new era of AI, I believe we’re standing at the edge of a major shift in how our systems work.
A shift away from endlessly managing our notes, to a knowledge system where AI becomes a partner in our workflows. So we can focus on the real work.
That’s why I’m rebooting this newsletter under a new name:
🧠 Knowledge Work: Rebooted
It’s where I’ll be sharing my core framework for building a modern knowledge system—one that’s built for how we actually work today.
You’ll get systems, workflows, ideas and tools to help you:
Set up a personal knowledge system that mirrors how you think—so you can capture ideas quickly, find what you need fast, and never lose a thought again
Integrate AI into your system as a core part of how you work—not as a one-off hack, but as a consistent, reliable partner built into your daily workflows
Build a system where your ideas resurface when you need them—so nothing important gets buried, and your notes actively support your work
Streamline your daily workflows with tools and systems that reduce friction and eliminate digital busywork
Turn your notes into real output—from better decisions and deeper thinking to published work and shipped products
That’s what I’ll be writing about here moving forward.
And don’t worry:
You don’t need to be a “systems person.”
You don’t need to use a specific tool.
But you do need a system that works with you, not against you.
👀 Look out for the first post later this week.
If that sounds like something you’re into—you don’t need to do a thing.
You’re already subscribed and I’m so glad you’re here.
But if this no longer fits what you need, that’s okay too. Feel free to unsubscribe—no hard feelings at all.
Either way, thanks for being part of the journey.

👋 Great reboot! And actually closer to my heart than simply “creator”. I’m that, but so much more. With defo a heavy leaning to system thinking. Excited for you, and for what lies ahead. 👏
I’m in.
